TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT
Kauaʻi is known as the “Garden Isle” for its lush, tropical landscape—and that beautiful environment is also home to a variety of insects and other island wildlife. Even with regular professional cleaning and pest-control treatments, guests may occasionally encounter geckos, ants, mosquitoes, roaches, or other tropical insects during their stay.
Many classic Hawaiian properties also feature jalousie (louvered) windows, which are designed to allow the trade winds and natural airflow into the home rather than creating the completely sealed environment of a modern hotel or resort.
We take great care in maintaining and cleaning our properties, but the occasional presence of tropical insects is a natural part of island living and is not necessarily an indication of cleanliness or a lack of pest control.

1. Exit Airport: Take Ahukini Road from Lihue Airport
2. First Stoplight: Continue straight through the first stoplight (toward the mountains)
3. Highway 56: Continue about 1 mile until you reach Highway #56 (Kuhio Highway) – Turn LEFT
4. To Koloa: Follow Kuhio Highway south for approximately 7 miles toward Koloa Town
5. Koloa Town: Continue straight through Koloa Town toward Poipu
6. Poipu Road: Follow signs and continue onto Poipu Road toward the coast
7. Pe’e Road: Turn RIGHT onto Pe’e Road
8. Final Approach: Follow Pe’e Road until you reach 1661 Pe’e Rd
9. Arrival: Unit #1302 is located within the property complex – detailed check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival
